Cascina Albano was born in heart of Langhe, on the hills of Barbaresco, at the beginning of the 1900s. The name of the winery recalls the hill on which it sits: Alban, which means “kissed by the early sunshine.”
Cascina Albano is a family-centered and creative winery, which was born after a long tradition of producers and winemakers, focused on growing vineyards with passion in order to produce wines with a strong personality and to tell the story of the land.
Nowadays the third generation - represented by Marco and Elisabetta - has created the personality of Cascina Albano, all of them brought together by the love which the family has for the land and its fruits.
Strada Ovello, Barbaresco CN
Barbera is a ruby-red wine with violet hues. e nose is intense and distinctive with aromas of blackberry and plum and spicy notes reminiscent of cinnamon and green peppers . On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-rounded, with some sour notes which are typical of this wine. Persistent and pleasantly dry, Barbera discloses sweet and soft tannins. e sour freshness gives it a lasting nish.
DOC AFFINATO IN LEGNO
The color is dark ruby red with violet hues. e nose is a triumph of ripe fruit, with intense aromas of plums and blackberries and spicy notes reminiscent of cinnamon. e fruity and
toasted aromas are in perfect balance, with notes of vanilla, almond and cocoa. On the palate the wine is well-rounded and full-bodied, its fruity notes blending beautifully with the soft tannins and the sweet, woody notes. e nish is very persistent, with a slight avor enhanced by a strong scents of berry jam.
The color is ruby red with intense violet hues. e nose is immediate and genuine, reminiscent of violas and cherries with hints of soft fruits and jam, as well as notes of cyclamen and hay, which give a sensation of freshness. It is an easydrinking wine; its intense fruity aromas are in perfect balance with the alcoholic note. e nish is pleasantly bitter, with a soft acidity and marked almond notes.
The color is a typical straw yellow with greenish hues. e nose is fresh with some notes of exotic fruits, citrus, and dill. On
the palate it is pleasantly well-rounded, dry, with pleasant hints of lemon and mango. A slight alcoholic note remind us its belonging to Langhe. e nish is fresh and slightly savory
because of its delicate acidity.
The colour is gold yellow, while the nose recalls acacia honey, ripe fruit and thorn tree. On the palate, it is pleasantly wellrounded,
sweet with agreeable hints of nougat and apricot. A slight alcoholic note underlines the Langhe origin and balances the sweetness. The smooth acidity gives the wine freshness and pleasure.

The color is bright red with garnet hues. e nose is a triumph of ripe fruit, whit intense aromas of strawberry as well as violas
and soft notes reminiscent of maraschino cherry. Some spicy notes of cloves are in perfect balance with delicate balsamic
hints. On the palate it is well-rounded and fresh with intense aroma of soft fruits. It is very persistent thanks to the tannin
level and to the sweet spicy notes which develop during the aging.
SPUMANTE EXTRA DRY
The wine is characterized by its shimmering straw color and green highlights. When poured into the glass, its tiny bubbles are brilliant and intense. On the nose are notes of
fresh fruit, oven baked bread, and linden. On the palate, sCiarMat has an enveloping mouthfeel; hints of peaches and
orange blossom stand out.
The color is bright red with garnet hues. e nose is rich of fruity notes with marked strawberry cherry and raspberry hints; it
is also characterized by smooth notes reminiscent of cloves. On the palate it is dry, harmonious and well-rounded. e fruit blends beautifully with the marked tannins and the elegant bitterness. e nish is persistent thanks to the great structure of tannins, which is enhanced by a strong fruity aftertaste.
SPUMANTE METODO CLASSICO
PerSchers is obtained from the vinification of grapes which, thanks to the manual early harvest, release a natural freshness
and sourness. After a long period of sur-lie aging, PerSchers goes on to the phase of disgorgement. When served, it
discloses a persistent perlage, the color is a brilliant straw yellow with delicate greenish hues. The subtle and persistent perlage whets the sight and the palate. It discloses a fresh
and intense bouquet, recalling tropical fruits, lime and bread crust.
