Casa Roma is the name of an old country house which sits in the land around the Piave river. Home of the Peruzzetto family for generations, Casa Roma has a tradition of wine growing which stretches back over the centuries. Nowadays the Peruzzetto family keeps on using the most authentic resources to get the very best from varieties that have grown for centuries, in particular the Treviso area’s most famous native grape Raboso.

Luigi Peruzzetto is the man behind this tradition renaissance: thanks to his strong bond and deep devotion to the land, he nurtures the dream to bring out the true value of the most authentic resources and achieve some truly excellent results.

An international variety which produces an elegant wine with a fruity bouquet. Colour: straw yellow with greenish highlights. Bouquet: overtones of yellow apples and peaches accompanied by hints of citrus and crusty bread.

This variety was created in the 1930s by Professor Luigi Manzoni in Italy’s first Wine School. It combines the gentleness of Pinot Bianco with the pleasantly aromatic Riesling, the varieties it’s taken from.

DOC VENEZIA

 

This variety has every right to consider itself a child of the

Venetian Republic in whose lands it has been grown since

the end of the 19th Century. Ruby red tending to violet.

Overtones of cherry and woodland fruits. Gentle, full and

pleasantly tannic.

 

 

Carmenère

 

DOC PIAVE

 

A Bordeaux variety that has found an ideal environment in the Piave valley. It’s unmistakable grassy notes diminish gradually over time. Colour: intense ruby red with violet highlights. Bouquet: overtones of blackberry and raspberry with a hint of rocket and pepper. Flavour: confident, fresh and harmonious.

IGT MARCA TREVIGIANA

 

An ancient variety which has been grown in the Treviso

area since the 1700s. Brilliant straw yellow with greenish

highlights colour. Bouquet: overtones of yellow apples, straw

and Mediterranean spices. Dry and confident with a fresh

acidity flavour.

Malanotte

DOCG

 

“Malanotte” is a charming medieval hamlet in Tezze di Piave

which gives its name to this, one of the most distinctive versions of Raboso del Piave. Colour Ruby red with garnet red highlights. Bouquet: Recalls of marasca cherry, black berry, cherry and blueberry. Flavour: Austere, sapid and characteristic.

Moscato

SPUMANTE ROSATO DOLCE

 

An original and captivating rosé from Moscato D’Amburgo and Raboso Piave grapes. Its softness and rustic nature are balanced by the spumantizzazione, the process by which it becomes sparkling. Colour rosé with violet highlights.

 

Merlot

 

DOC VENEZIA

 

An international variety which has become a part of the wine-growing tradition of the Veneto plain. Intense and brilliant ruby red colour. Bouquet: overtones of woodland red fruits, wild strawberries, blackberries and violets. Warm, harmonious, persistent, becoming velvety over time flavour.

Our Raboso Frizzante - sparkling - is produced using the

ancient tradition of in-bottle fermentation on the yeast.

The sediment in the wine makes it slightly cloudy and

guarantees that the processes used are 100% natural.

CALLARGHE

 

This is an interesting and characterful Raboso Passito - where the grapes are rack dried before pressing which concentrates their sweetness. Its defining feature is its rustic feel which comes from its acid and tannic components. Colour intense ruby red.

DOC PIAVE

 

This is very well-structured, strong and harmonious wine,

one of the most successful white wines from the area. Golden

highlights colour. Bouquet: honeycomb and ripe fruit,

peach, apple and apricot. Warm, powerful, harmonious and

full flavour.

DOC PIAVE

 

The Raboso Piave, so full of character, is the symbol of our

winery. This is the great indigenous wine, the only native

variety from the Province - or Marca - of Treviso. It is

pleasantly acidic and aged in oak barrels.

 

 

Raboso rosè

SPUMANTE BRUT METODO CLASSICO

This is a sparkling Rosé Brut produced using the classic

method from Raboso grapes. It has a delicate bouquet of recalls lemon, pink grapefruit, cherry and bread crust. Brilliant rosé with violet highlights colour and fine, persistent perlage with fresh, dry, fragrant and persistent flavour.

Sestier

IGT MARCA TREVIGIANA

 

From that Prince of Treviso varieties we get the Sestier, with

its joyful and determined character. Intense ruby red with

violet highlights colour. Bouquet: cherries with overtones of

plumb and a hint of wild violets. Fresh, pleasantly tannic,

joyful and slightly sweet flavour.
